Unfortunately there was a derailment of MP 12 on Saturday 15 November 2014. The site has been cleared, the containers involved have been returned to the Tauranga container Terminal and the effected parties have been notified. Kiwi rail are on site effecting repairs to the line and are making good progress.
We are currently working with Kiwi Rail to try and replace the services that has been effected, to date is one train southbound and two northbound.
