In the last two weeks Genoa located in the foothills of the Alps, Italy has received more than 139 mm of rain. Due to the heavy rain in the last two weeks flooding accrued in and around the Genoa area, Northern Italy.
This has created all sorts of problems in transporting containers in and out of that Port Genoa. Many containers are missing cargo cut-offs and some shipping lines have begun cancelling Port calls in order to keep to schedule.
