My first day with Malcolm Total Logistics was the 21 October 1996 in Sales. When I first started we had a portacom which some had nicked named it the “Bitches Box” due to myself and another sales person working out of it.
As the years have passed I have made Malcolm Total Logistics my day family or on the other hand they may have adopted me. The colleagues I work with are people like myself who believe in the company, and have a passion for all they do in our working day to day life. I am the key Account Manager and I really enjoy my position with the company. I enjoy the challenges each day brings with finding solutions for cargo which maybe oversized - or as we call it “ugly freight”. I look after most of Malcolm Total Logistics clients, overseas agents and service providers who help us move our cargo worldwide for both imports and exports. I really enjoy the client contact most of them have become more like friends over the years. All of our clients are a fantastic bunch of people and without them we would not be where we are today. I do have a life outside of Malcolm Total Logistics believe it or not. I am an arm chair sports critic and I especially like it when any Kiwi team is playing Aussie. I also play a bit of golf when I get the time. I spend a lot of time with my friends and family which now includes two grandsons who keep me busy. I have two dogs, Oscar & Emma and a cat called "Coruba” - these three are in charge of the home base. |
