Amanda Wilkinson

I first started working out at the airport as a teenager for a very small brokerage company, there was just four of us and they taught me the basics of the industry and got me started off into what has now turned into 15 years of freight forwarding.

I will never forget those early days when Malcolm Total Logistics purchased our small company and I became part of a much larger company who I now consider as my family.

Customer Services is one of my main roles here,  I enjoy the day to day contact with clients and their different personalities. Some clients I have known for years. My other main role is Quoting for Imports – Air, LCL and FCL from all over the world, a challenging and rewarding role.

Customer Services covers all aspects of this industry – Imports, Exports, Customs Clearance, dealing with MAF and NZ Customs, managing orders, dealing with agents and forwarders around the world, direct contact with clients, the happy ones and the grumpy ones!
 
The knowledge I now have after all these years is something to be proud of and definitely a reflection on the team here at Malcolm’s.

When I am not working I am at home with my beautiful 14 month old daughter Emma, who is now also part of the Malcolm’s family, she regularly comes in to visit before going to Day Care.
